Jazz - History of Music

Jazz emerged from the cultural influence on black music in the southern United States. Its origin comes first, the work songs that blacks sheltered him during work. Also comes from religious music, the rhythms of Spanish music from the Gulf of Mexico, the structure and rhythm of French music, polkas, marches of bunkers, based on the pace all the black.
Blue Note: the black music that practically served as the basis for jazz was the blues musical form whose theme is expressed in 12 bars and in which the changes appear melodic jazz and old: the intervals of lower third or seventh, in a major key. Any such changes will give the name of blue note. The blues expresses moods, usually associated with living, sleeping, running, love and die. They are moody and appear after the emancipation of black people, originating in the songs and work, the English ballad and the spiritual.
