Gary Moore: Biography of a Bluesman


Biography Of Gary Moore - The eminent composer, guitarist and blues singer and rock. Known mainly for its unique, highly emotional style of guitar playing, and perfect technical mastery of the instrument.
Gary Moore was born on 4 April 1952 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He began his career in the second half of the 60s Inspired by the works of contemporary blues rock guitarists from Jimi Hendrix and John Mayall in the lead. On the water flowed as a guitarist Irish group Skid Row . That's when he was spotted by his idol Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac , who helped the group in signing with a big record label and Gary gave one of his favorite guitar 1959 Gibson Les Paul. After years of Moore played guitar on this whole album with compositions of his idol, "Blues for Greeny."
70s Moore is for a very busy time. Solo career began publication in 1973 album "Grinding Stone." He also participated in several side projects. He has been mainly in Thin Lizzy and progrockowym Coloseum II project. At the end of the decade and through the entire 80s seriously began releasing a solo career during this period 7 albums and leaving behind classics such as "Parisienne Walkway's," "After The War" and "Over the Hills and Far Away." In the 80s his style departed somewhat from the blues to hard rock and soft metal, but in 1990, reminded of myself as a blues guitarist giving his most famous album "Still Got The Blues." In this release, featured the Albert Collins, Albert King, George Harrison .

Blues guitarist accompanied on subsequent albums, "After Hours" and "Blues for Greeny." At the turn of the century Gary Moore experimented with new sounds, released albums in this style have not been too well received by fans and critics here in 2001, he again returned to the blues album "Back to the Blues." His beloved music remained faithful until the end of his career. In November 2009, Gary Moore playing a gig in Warsaw.

He died on 6 February 2011, of a heart attack in his sleep, while on holiday in the Spanish town of Estepona.
