Gary Moore was born on 4 April 1952 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He began his career in the second half of the 60s Inspired by the works of contemporary blues rock guitarists from Jimi Hendrix and John Mayall in the lead. That's when he was spotted by his idol Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac , who helped the group in signing with a big record label and Gary gave one of his favorite guitar 1959 Gibson Les Paul.
